Housemade Basil Pesto is brightened nicely with a bit of lemon juice, and toasted pine nuts give an earthy balance to the dish!

Lemon & Fennel Tofu, Caramelized Onion & Fennel with Carrots, Mascarpone-Lemon Gnocchi
Housemade Fennel-Veg Broth has a hint of heat from red chili flakes and citrus from lemon zest
Handmade gnocchi have lemon zest & parmesan and are seared in brown butter

3rd Course – Poultry Option

Braised Chicken Thigh, Caramelized Onion & Fennel with Carrots, Mascarpone-Lemon Gnocchi
Chicken thighs are braised in a lemon-fennel broth until the meat falls off the bone, then the skin is crisped.
Red onion & Fennel are caramelized with white wine, then tossed with baby carrots & parsley.

Planning an incredible menu for Saturday, February 18th:

Aphrodisiac Exploration!

Join Pretty Dan Clever on a 5-Course journey of tasting foods known to kick your libido into high gear! Singles as well as couples are encouraged to join us! Our ultra-modern, unique venue  is conveniently located in Tempe, AZ. Meet & Greet with passed hors d’oeuvres begins at 6pm. Seated meal begins around 7pm.

Some items that you will enjoy are: Warm Mission Figs with Goats Cheese and Crispy Pancetta (1 of 3 passed hors d’oeuvres – 1st Course); Ginger Jam with Strawberry Caviar & Cacao Nibs (palate cleanser/amuse); Fish Course (2nd Course) to be announced soon! Crispy Braised Chicken & Fennel with Marscapone Gnocchi(3rd Course); Beef Tenderloin w/ 2 sauces served with Spaetlze & Grilled Asparagus (4th Course); Banana Creme Brulee plus something rich & chocolately for dessert (5th Course)!

Build a Better Meatball Sub!

The thought of a meatball sub makes me salivate! Then somewhere between ordering one and having it served to my table, something goes wrong… The roll is soggy *sad face*  But do not fret! This doesn’t happen when you assemble the sub yourself! Add to that the best, juiciest homemade meatballs in town along with our marinara, provolone, onions & peppers piled atop garlic bread sub rolls… This meatball sub cannot be beat!

Meatballs in Marinara Sauce with Provolone – Our homemade Mediterranean meatballs (Italian sausage and beef are combined with Mediterranean spices) in homemade marinara sauce with melted provolone cheese.
Sautéed Onions & Peppers - Onions and multi-colored peppers are the perfect topping for your meatball sandwich!

White Lasagna with Chicken  Layers of pasta, zucchini, yellow squash, eggplant and chicken tenders with our house   made creamy Alfredo sauce. Baked until bubbly and GBD!

It’s a Wrap!
Roast Beef and Cheddar Wrap  Sliced roast beef and cheddar cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla with lettuce and tomato. Light mayonnaise.

Tuna Salad Wrap Chunks of albacore tuna, tart Granny Smith apple, celery and red onion are combined with our homemade mayonnaise.

Grilled Vegetable Wrap  Crisp asparagus, portabella mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, and carrots grilled to perfection then wrapped in a flour tortilla with lettuce and tomato. Light mayonnaise.

Deviled Egg Potato Salad  Red skin potatoes, hard-boiled egg whites and scallions mixed with our creamy egg yolk dressing. Devilishly tasty!
